I found this very interesting video of an inspirational speech by Janet Echelman an artist who speaks about her journey of rejction from art schools to becoming an artist, how it took her ten years to proof that she had everything in her that takes to become an artist.
This video is for everyone who dream’t of something but was rejected, discouraged or told once in their lives that they’re not worth it.
Im sure lots of students studying at Art schools, young artists espacially the struggling ones are often told that those three years after you graduate from an art school are very important in deciding your fate as an artist and if some how you waste your time or couldn’t comeup with any thing worthwhile during that period you should forget about your art career.
Wrong! Art or creativity does not depend upon any particular time or age similarly one can’t become an artist just by going to an art school, all it takes is determination, talent, lots n lots of hard work and never giving up.
So everyone who took other people seriously saying “You can’t do it” wakeup watch this video and say “Yes I can” cause there is nothing in the world that can stop you from what you really want.
